Information for incoming students
Murmansk Humanities Institute welcomes both international exchange students and international visiting students. An international exchange student is one who is currently studying at a university which has an agreement on student exchange (North2North, FIRST, bilateral agreements) with Murmansk Humanities Institute (MHI) and who comes to study here under the terms of the agreement. An international visiting student is one who is currently studying at a university which does not have an agreement on student exchange with Murmansk Humanities Institute and who independently applies to study at MHI. For international exchange students studying is FREE. Both international exchange and visiting students must have good knowledge of English for academic purposes and the following documents must be enclosed to the application form:

Fees and Expenses
Tuition: approx. 20 000 RUR / 500 EURO / semester (for non-individual studies) Accommodation: 7 000 - 10 000 RUR/ 200-300 EURO/month Living costs: 7 000 RUR / 200 EURO/month Social activities: 3 500 RUR / 100 EURO/month Tuition Tuition is FREE for international exchange students. Other visiting students have to pay. The given tuition cost is approximate. It depends on the amount of courses incoming student is going to take. Accommodation There is no University campus or students' hostels. But the International Relations Office of MHI assists incoming students to find and to rent a flat.
